TIP 1: GET STARTED
You may have heard it said in life that “Half the battle is getting started.” Exercising is no exception! While many of us have great “intentions” on exercising, or training for a race such as a 5K, we often let our excuses win us over. There is always something else we need to do or somewhere more important we need to be. Because of this, the first tip for training is to simply GET STARTED!
There is no better day than today! Go ahead and let go of all of the excuses that have been building up in your head and get started. Let today be the day that you finally take that leap forward and begin working towards a goal that you have always wanted to get to. Try making a list of everything that has been holding you back, and setting an overall goal for yourself. Once you decide to quit the excuses and get going, you will be able to make strides towards your goal! Today, say goodbye to everything that has been holding you back, and begin the training journey that you’ve always wanted to start!
